In the Beginning.....

Today was an honor. Imagine, to be there at the birth of a brand new scam. Not a very good one, mind you, and it still needs a lot of work but a new scam all the same. But at the same time it’s part of a new trend, if you don’t bite right away they won’t chat with you. This one had a lot of potential for entertainment value but they just didn’t want to play.

The gist of their scam is that they get payments in the US and need someone to deposit it them for them, because their customers all pay with postal money orders. You cash them and send them cash via western union. Of course the money orders are forgeries and the money will be gone forever but what harm is there in that? Gee I know a lot of companies that send the payables manager down to the post office to stand in line for 30 minutes with cash to get money orders so they can pay bills.

I think this will be a flash in the pan type scam. Kind of like you won the lottery scams. Too silly to be taken seriously. I have to believe that in the world of scams sex and greed are the way to go.

me: why don't you just have them send checks to england and deposit them in the bank?

me: why would they do that?
anita11434: All you have to do is help us recieve payments from our customers in the states.These payments are in usps money order and they would come to you in your name, so all you need do is cash the cheque collect your payment and wire the rest to us via western union
